Portrait Miniature commissions

Elizabeth Berdann, whose work was called “wickedly simple” by Newsweek, paints portrait miniatures in oil on copper. A realist painter, Berdann’s works exhibit the stark authenticity of America’s earliest portrait artists.

Berdann will take commissions for humans and animals. Having apprenticed with a medical examiner, body parts are a particular speciality. She recently finished “Lover’s Eyes” set as cuff links and a ring.
