Alfred Tidey (1808-1892) whostudied at the Royal Academy
Schools, worked in London and the Continent, counting among his sitters Sir
John Conroy (NPG, London), Lady Mary Arabella Noel and John Constable's children.

of theVictoria & Albert Museum.
